The UC Merced Community and Labor Center is delighted to invite you to a reception for our first-of-its-kind series of educational events for funders. It is titled “From Crisis to Action: Mobilizing for Equity, Resilience, and Recovery in Rural and Farmworker Communities." The series focuses on the social, labor and economic impacts of the 2023 atmospheric river storms on California’s rural and farmworker communities, drawing valuable insights from the center’s Farmworker Health Study and related labor research.
